about
The Black Death was one of the deadliest pandemic recorded in human history. Between 1346 and 1353 the plaque resulted in the deaths of up to 25 million people in Europe - which is one third of the former population. No one was safe, anyone could be the next to die - that´s what the song is about.
lyrics
Pestillence all over the land
Spreading fear, spreading death
World under attack
Old man or child
Pawn or king
No one is safe
When the rates come
Neverending night
Extiction of mankind
Bite of the flea
Hardly to feel, nothing to see
But then it goes fast
Fever and Pain
vomiting blood
Skin turns black
And then they die
Dead fall from the sky
in 1349
Pesthammer over Europe
Pesthammer, Deathhammer
Corpses pile up on the streets
who buries the dead
when no one is there
Is that the end of the world
When every hope is gone

First grade Swedeath from Germany. Even better, more refined and varied than the glorious predecessor. Exceptionally well done, Nightbearer. I especially love the melodic work. The Wheel Of Time 🖤 mourner
Gradually building sparse and intentionally repetitive death/speed metal hybrid that burrows it's way slowly into your ears with a great ear for the right kind of repeater riff. Old school in all the right ways and doesn't put many feet wrong in it's low-fi early thrash/speed meets very early death metal ways. poisonremedy
Who doesn't know about Rogga and his phenomenal output of swedeath? It has to be acknowledged that he doesn't put out any bad songs and is capable to hold up the tension. Not only that, je eben manages to increase the intensity of his works. mourner
